Week 1

Meal Planning..
I feel like if I plan ahead for what I will eat at every meal I can stay on track better. Otherwise I feel more hungry and give into more cookies which then I dig into my extra points a week. I usually tend to do about 5+ more each day from my alotted points, o do I love the extra weekly points!
I cook for my husband and I, and he LOVES everything that is not really healthy for you the more butter and cream and grease the better. Therefore I eat with him because itd be lame to eat my "smart ones" while he is partaking alone in yummy goodness. So I decided to figure out the points of casseroles that we all LOVE then its no big deal for everyone to eat together!

Poppy-seed chicken casserole:
1/2 cup= 7 points
1 cup white rice= 5 points

Healthy Hansen Starts

Everything ALWAYS has to start on a Monday. If you are not aware "lets be normal" starts
MONDAY FEBRUARY 4, 2013..
Therefore enjoy this last week and super bowl Sunday for lots of splurging and make it worth it because being healthy starts soon.. 
I nicknamed this lets be normal, because were not changing much. You can still eat your Oreos, dove chocolates, etc. YES we love all that but you have to have it in moderation of course. 

A GOAL not written down is only a DREAM..
Sometimes to reach a goal, a little friendly competition helps to get there. 
Also letting others know what your doing, will help make you stay accountable for reaching your GOAL
Therefore if your going to participate here's what i am suggesting we do. 

Write down your goal--pledge what your going to do to get to that goal--and post it under comments for this post. I will then re Post it. 

For the friendly competition
Sometimes a big goal is hard to reach, and can be easier to reach if you have smaller goals leading up to it. 
The reward to the person for meeting small and big goal can be decided among everyone. Just leave a comment of what you think!

First deadline of small goal = May 3 (3 months) 

BIG GOAL DEADLINE= August 3 ( which means you have 6 months to reach it so make your goal realistic)
